3rd 4helix+ Steering Committee Meeting, Zadar, 10 April 2019

In the framework of the final 4helix+ Blue BootCamp and Transnational Brokerage Event held in Zadar (HR) on 9-10 and 11 April respectively, the 3rd Project Steering Committee took place as well.

Besides regular project administration and management, the Project Consortium had to address and decide upon some pressing issues. In particular, in view of the upcoming deadline for applications for 4helix+ innovation vouchers (expiring on 30th April), an important discussion took place on finalising the terms for the selection of applicant SMEs/Start-Ups. More specifically, on refining related evaluation criteria, setting and scaling the scoring system, setting thresholds, etc., as well as on trying to harmonise the evaluation criteria among the pilot areas on one hand and complying with respective - sometimes different - national legislations on the other.

Indeed, following a long period of intense and articulated preparatory activities consisting of stimulating and coaching on innovation, as well as promoting project's innovation funding opportunities in the blue sectors offered by 4helix+,  the project is now approaching its crucial stage: awarding the innovation vouchers and then monitoring the selected SMEs as they embark on actually implementing their respective innovation project that they will develop under the expert guidance of a chosen Knowledge Provider.
