The 4helix+ Seville Blue Bootcamp gathered more than 40 participants during a two-day event where blue economy SMEs from maritime, nautical and fisheries sectors and creativity experts from Spain, Italy, France, Greece, Croatia and Albania had the chance to exchange and network at the headquarters of Chamber of Commerce of Seville.
The event was an ideal framework to receive information on blue growth in Andalusia Region with a special emphasis on blue economy strategy, thanks to the support and the participation of Regional Innovation Agency of Andalusia IDEA, Port Authority of Seville, together with experts in coastal and maritime tourism that introduced main challenges faced by the sector.
The Bootcamp was highly interactive with different sessions that focused on engaging participants in a very dynamic networking. A pitch session allowed all the participants to gain first-hand overview on the participating blue SMEs’ activity and current needs, and on the other hand, on creativity and innovation expertise from the side of Creative experts. Afterwards, a Design Thinking session gathered all participants to help blue SMEs to better identify, understand and address their challenges and to design potential solutions to improve their business strategy.
During the 2nd day, participants from both creative and blue economy sectors engaged in a very dynamic networking and met in pre-arranged and targeted B2B meetings for discussing project set-ups and collaborations in the framework of the 4helix+ Innovation Voucher Call.
